MAY BOOK SALE EARNINGS & THANK YOU!

The May On-Site Book Sale brought in $5,279.79 in earnings!  A big thank you to the City, Library and Library Staff, Friends of the Albany Library Volunteers and Library Patrons! 

The Friends of the Albany Library Spring Book Sale was a great success! Your efforts, contributions and support were fabulous! We could not have done it without you!

We are targeting our next Friends Book Sale for the fall of 2025 and will provide an update to this site when planning is well underway. Until our next book sale, you can purchase books at the daily ongoing Book Sale Shelf in the Library and online. We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Friends Book Sale! We’d love your donations after May 15th so that we can stock up for our Fall Book Sale!

Daily “Ongoing” Shelf sale in the Library

FAL sells a variety of interesting books including Kids, picture, topical, holiday-themed, mystery, etc. on the library shelf just across from the checkout desk. Most of these books look like they first did at the bookstore, but many are just $1! Come and check them out whenever the library is open, inventory changes most days.

Collectible, Rare, Vintage

These are typically older and unique items ranging in price from $2 to $hundreds. Check publicity for scheduled sales to find out if CRV is offered – usually it is at the May and November sales.

Friends Online Sales 24 hours a day
